About Knowledge Center
Our Mission:
Short historyKnowledge Center was founded on December 1, 2002 in Kiev, Ukraine. The basic idea was to improve IT-specialists’ skills, so that IT-specialists could master the most up-to-date informational technologies. At that time, most Ukrainian companies just started to regard IT as a business tool. In 2002 Knowledge Center was the first Ukrainian education center that began to conduct . Since then, over 5000 specialists in the fields of network design, support and management, network and end-point security, IP-telephony, contact-centers and Cisco sales received education in our Center. Knowledge Center possesses lab equipment with compound cost of $1,500,000. In different time periods, 15 CCSI trainers provided educational services to our customers in Russian, English and German. Our Cisco trainers have professional certifications, and are eligible to conduct 40 different Cisco trainings, which are mostly unique on Ukraine’s IT-education market. As a reward for these achievements, Cisco granted Knowledge Center with Cisco Learning Partner (CLP) status in 2006, and in 2008 - with Cisco Learning Solutions Partner (CLSP) status, thus Knowledge Center became the only Cisco partner of the kind in Ukraine. In 2004 Knowledge Center began to conduct . Shortly after, the MCPLS (Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions) status was gained. Since that time, Center has turned out 8 certified Microsoft trainers, and trained more than 3000 specialists in different fields: Windows Server 2003 administration, SQL Server, Exchange Server, SharePoint Server, System Management Server, Security, and Development for Microsoft .NET platform. In 2006 our company created a laboratory of 20 Sun desktop stations. We offer of Sun Solaris 9, 10 administration. Over 300 specialists gained knowledge and skills in Knowledge Center. Our trainers also develop and conduct Oracle 9, 10, 11 administration and development trainings. We also offer . Some of these trainings are the intellectual property of Knowledge Center, and no other existing educational institution offers similar course programs. 2006 was the year of big changes for Knowledge Center. In particular, we moved to a bigger office with 10 training rooms for 150 students. The rooms for trainers, management team and other employees are also situated there. In addition, we can now offer on-site dinners for training attendees. 38 employees work in our Center: 14 of them are client’s consultants and 19 are certified instructors. In the end of 2007 Knowledge Center became the only exclusive Apis company partner in CIS IT-market. This partnership allowed us to provide educational services for mobile operators.
Since 2004 we also conduct trainings for IT-managers using ITIL methodologies. In 2008 Center developed the series of new trainings on incident management and problem management, IT-staff management, service level management, and Cobit information systems auditing trainings. Now Knowledge Center is also the only Ukrainian partner of leading ITSM company in Russia – 5-55.
